Please check with your computer manufacturer for possible software downloads. I regret to inform you that Intel does not offer the software to download turbo boost anymore on, this has been removed since June 30th, 2014. You need either check with your computer manufacturer for information about support for turbo boost on new BIOS updates or through your BIOS setup screen. Normally, computer manufacturers enabled this feature by default and the only way to access turbo boost would be through BIOS settings. I understand you are trying to enable turbo boost of Intel i7-4700MQ processor. Thanks for joining the processor community. PS: Can someone give me the download link for that Intel Turbo Boost Monitoring thingy? I really want to enable TurboBoost so my games run better and stuff and that's why I am seeking your help. I also tried searching the service in Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services but I didn't find anything there as well. Just some Intel Vanderpool technology thing which, I think, has nothing to do with Turbo Boost. I tried to enable it via lenovo's insanely stupid BIOS but I found no options regarding CPU at all. I know the first reply on this thread will be about how it's turbo boost is enabled by default and stuff but I don't think mine is. However, it never reached that frequency and the performance isn't as good. Best Bench: 46 Base clock 2.8 GHz, turbo 2.75 GHz (avg).

So here is the problem: my CPU is supposed to be able to run at 3.4 GHz with that TurboBoost thing. user benchmarks for the Intel Core i5-2410M and the Core2 Duo T9600. It isn't running as good as I expected (considering the configuration). I recently bought a new laptop (Lenovo y510p) which came with the following specifications: Some are specific to Intel only, some to AMD.Hello. Supported virtual machine optimization technologies. Processor technologies aimed at improving security, for example, by protecting against hacks. You'll probably need this information if you require some particular technology. Technological capabilities and additional instructions supported by Core 2 Duo T9600. Some can even double their declared thermals given that the motherboard allows to tune the CPU power parameters. Note that power consumption of some processors can well exceed their nominal TDP, even without overclocking. Useful when planning a future computer configuration or upgrading an existing one. Information on Core 2 Duo T9600 compatibility with other computer components and devices: motherboard (look for socket type), power supply unit (look for power consumption) etc. These parameters can generally indicate CPU performance, but to be more precise you have to review its test results. Basic microprocessor parameters such as number of cores, number of threads, base frequency and turbo boost clock, lithography, cache size and multiplier lock state.
